1.Who We Are
- Data controller: SalesFortuna LLC
- Service name: Remove Negative Amazon Reviews · AI Appeal
2.Information We Handle
Depending on the feature you use, the extension may handle:
- Amazon page content for review analysis: product title, ASIN, review ID, review title and text, star rating, reviewer name, review date, review URL, current page URL.
- Email address, when you enable review tracking — used only for status notifications, not for marketing or shared with third parties.
- Generated appeal draft content (subject and body) created from review data.
- Local extension state and settings: developer mode selection, appeal email setting, daily usage counters, cached analysis data, review action history.
- Background review check data: when the background checking feature is active, publicly accessible Amazon review page URLs fetched using your authenticated browser session, and check results (present or removed).
- Public product-page data for the Seller Snapshot feature: ASIN, Best Sellers Rank, price, and marketplace of Amazon product pages you view. This contains no personal data and is not linked to your account.
- Keyword rank-tracking data: the keywords you track or check, the target ASIN, and the delivery ZIP/postcode used to localize results. Rankings are read from publicly accessible Amazon search-results pages using a separate anonymous session — not your logged-in Amazon account. This contains no personal data.
3.How We Use Information
We use information only to provide and improve extension features:
- Analyze low-rated Amazon reviews for policy violations.
- Generate removal or appeal recommendations and email drafts.
- Generate listing and SEO recommendations from review content.
- Create an appeal email draft.
- Track review status when you explicitly provide an email address.
- Check review status in the background using your authenticated Amazon session, including reviews tracked by other SalesFortuna users (distributed review-verification pool) — read-only public data only.
- Enforce daily usage limits and improve performance through local caching.
- Build aggregate, anonymous BSR and price history charts for Amazon products (Seller Snapshot), including data contributed by other SalesFortuna users.
- Track where your products rank for keywords — organic position, sponsored placement, and indexing — on demand via Check now and periodically in the background, using anonymous, location-pinned Amazon search requests.
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not use collected data for personalized advertising.
4.Background Review Status Checking
The extension includes a distributed review-checking feature. When active, your Amazon browser session is used to check review status in the background, including reviews submitted by other SalesFortuna users. This is a read-only operation on publicly accessible review pages — no private Amazon account data, purchase history, or personal information is accessed.
- Checks run invisibly via Chrome's
scriptingpermission (injected into an existing open Amazon tab) or theoffscreenpermission (a temporary hidden background document when no Amazon tab is open). No new tabs are opened. - The
scriptingandoffscreenChrome manifest permissions are used exclusively for this background review-checking feature.
You can opt out at any time by uninstalling or disabling the extension, or by logging out of your Amazon account.
- Checks run invisibly via Chrome's
5.Keyword Rank Tracking
The extension includes keyword rank-tracking features (a background Rank Monitor and an on-demand Check now lookup). To determine where a product (ASIN) ranks for a keyword, the extension fetches publicly accessible Amazon search-results pages for that keyword and reads the organic position, sponsored placement, and whether the ASIN is indexed.
- Rank requests use a separate, anonymous Amazon session that is established independently and pinned to a delivery ZIP/postcode (rankings vary by location). Your logged-in Amazon account and its cookies are not used for rank requests — the anonymous session is kept isolated from your login session.
- The
cookies, declarativeNetRequest, andwebRequestChrome manifest permissions are used to attach that anonymous session and the marketplace/ZIP context to the outgoing Amazon search request, and for no other purpose. - Only the keywords you track or check, the target ASIN, and the delivery ZIP are handled. No personal Amazon account data is accessed.
